With the draft just a couple of weeks away and the recent release of the preseason schedule, the upcoming NFL season is starting to take shape.  That means that even though we are just getting ready for the long days of summer, there are still plenty of key dates to look forward to in regards to the Ravens offseason activities.

To help you keep up with the happenings of your favorite team, here’s an updated Baltimore Ravens 2015 calendar.

April 20th: The Ravens’ offseason workout program begins, with two weeks of classroom and weight room work and three weeks of on field drills.

April 24th: Restricted free agent deadline.  If a player negotiates with another team and signs an offer sheet, teams have the right to either match it or receive compensation.  The Ravens currently have two restricted free agents: Will Hill (no compensation, low tender) and Justin Tucker (2nd round tender and compensation).

April 30th – May 2nd: NFL Draft

May 8th – 11th: The beginning of rookie minicamps.  All the draft picks will be there, plus any undrafted rookies who come in for tryouts.

May 26th – 28th: Organized team activities begin (OTAs).  For four weeks teams can hold up to 10, with one mandatory minicamp.  No live contact is allowed, but teams can run drills.

June 1st – 3rd and 8th – 11th: Voluntary organized team activities.

June 16th-18th: Mandatory minicamp.  All players under contract must attend.

July 29th: The earliest reporting date available to teams, but they can choose to report 15 days prior to the preseason opener.

July 30th: The earliest date teams can hold their first training camp practice.

August 13th: Ravens play the Saints in the first preseason game at home.

August 21st or 22nd: Ravens play the Eagles on the road in the second preseason game.

August 28th or 29th: Ravens play the Redskins at home in the third preseason game.

September 3rd: Ravens play the Falcons on the road in the preseason finale.
