The Baltimore Ravens had a productive weekend by any measure, one that is being universally lauded by pretty much everyone.  But Ozzie and company weren’t done adding talent to their roster when the 2015 NFL Draft wrapped up on Saturday evening.  The team has signed a number of undrafted free agents since the final pick came off the board.

The Ravens’ lack of a seventh round pick didn’t seem to matter much, as Ozzie conceded that the team was able to sign some players they might have spent a draft pick on anyway.

"“There are players that we will target after the draft that we [think are] draftable players for us that we could have taken if we had a seventh-round pick,” Newsome said. “There are still players on our board that we would have drafted.”"

That fact shouldn’t surprise anyone after the Ravens bullied their way through a draft where they always seemed to be in control of their destiny.  While other teams were making questionable picks at questionable times, it’s hard to argue with how things panned out for Baltimore.

Let’s take a look at the Baltimore Ravens undrafted free agents that have signed since the draft ended and gauge their chances of making an impact in 2015, or at least their shot at a roster spot.

We know that Ozzie loves big school prospects, even though he didn’t use a draft pick on an Alabama player this year.  Perry was a starter for the Crimson Tide last season, racking up 80 tackles and 6 interceptions.  He has good size at 6’1″ and 211 pounds, but his status as a late bloomer hurt his draft stock.  Perry seems to have a good shot at a roster spot if he can build on what he started last season.

Trey DePriest, Linebacker, Alabama

DePriest was the heir apparent at inside linebacker following C.J. Mosley’s departure from Alabama.  A highly recruited player coming out of high school, DePriest recorded 87 tackles and 3 passes defensed in 2014.  He is a high effort player who lacks special athleticism and is best suited as a two down ‘backer. The odds would appear to be stacked against DePriest sticking with the Ravens at a crowded position, but he has enough talent to make a roster somewhere.
