We took a look at 3 potential Baltimore Ravens roster cuts just yesterday, all of them former draft picks of the purple and black.  Bleacher Report went a little further and is projecting every NFL team’s toughest cut.

Who did they designate as the Ravens’ most difficult cut decision?  None other than Jah Reid, who was on our short list.  But is cutting Reid really the most difficult decision the team will have to make?  Not even close.

The wide receiver group is going to feature at least 2-3 cuts that will undoubtedly be tougher than jettisoning Reid.  Unlike the former third round pick, they are at least all performing at a high level. Reid has never been anything other than a bust across his four seasons.

The Ravens returned to practice Monday, and the injury bug continues to haunt them as several key players sat out, including Timmy Jernigan.  Lardarius Webb left early with a hamstring issue.

Speaking of Webb, he knows that opposing quarterbacks are going to target him heavily in 2015, and he sounds confident that he can handle it this go round.  With Jimmy Smith performing at a high level in camp and giving Joe Flacco fits, Webb is sure to see a lot of passes coming his way in the coming season.

The biggest announcement this week is, of course, Steve Smith’s decision to retire at the end of the 2015 season.  But is he a lock for the Hall of Fame?  One could make a strong case for the mercurial number 89.
