The Ravens Will Likely Start Their Season On A Pleasant September Afternoon.

The NFL is back, and regular season action kicks off on Sunday as the Baltimore Ravens host the Buffalo Bills. Can Sunday get any better?

Well actually, yes it can because Sunday’s weather forecast calls for pristine conditions for game day. Even though Baltimore spent this week sweltering in the mid-90s, the temperature at kickoff is projected at 81 degrees according to wunderground.com. The weather starts cooling down Saturday night, and early Sunday morning it continues.

Currently, there is a 0% chance of precipitation to go along with the cooler weather. It sounds like tailgating weather to me, so grill some food, enjoy an adult beverage, and play a little corn hole before watching a great football game.

The weather favors the Ravens especially on offense. With speedy wide outs, Mike Wallace and Breshad Perriman, the warm and dry conditions will allow them to separate from the defense. Joe Flacco’s cannon will be on full display as he, hopefully, connects with Wallace and Perriman deep down the field. The 5-10 mph winds should have little effect on the ball.

The Ravens need to enjoy the Baltimore weather this week because there next two games are on the road. Next weekend they travel to Cleveland to face the division rival Browns, and the following week, they head to Florida to face the Jacksonville Jaguars. They return home on October 2nd to face the Oakland Raiders.
