Baltimore Ravens Vs. Cleveland Browns As Told By A Madden Simulation

The guys at AppTrigger.com do Madden 17 simulations for each NFL match up. This is another really cool way to get ready for Sunday. Daniel George explains how his Madden 17 simulation has the Baltimore Ravens winning 40-17.

While I think the Ravens are going to win, I think the idea that the Browns score 17 points is quite laughable. The Ravens defense shut down the Bills. While the Bills are 0-2, Tyrod Taylor got 3 touchdowns and 297 yards last night against the Jets. The Ravens held the Bills offense to 7 points and 160 yards. Now the lowly Browns are going to score 17 points on the Ravens?

The madden simulation has the Ravens offense finding their groove. The simulation projects a big days for Joe Flacco and Justin Forsett. The Ravens offense looked troublesome against the Bills, so this would be great to see.

After a 7-7 first quarter the Ravens score 20 points in the second quarter. The simulation has the Ravens building an insurmountable lead and coasting in to week 3. If the Ravens offense is as productive as the simulation suggests, there will be much to be excited about in Baltimore.

I predict the same kind of game, a Ravens blowout. That being said I see a 24-0 beat down, rather than the flashy 40-17 Madden simulation. When I look at this game I see two very different teams. One team looks poised for the playoffs. The other team looks years away from playoff football. The Ravens defense will dominate. The offense will get good stuff going, but will control the time of possession. This sounds like a chance for the Ravens to get the run game going.
