Baltimore Ravens Take On The Bengals: Injury Report

The Baltimore Ravens are about to do battle with the Bengals. Who is playing, who isn’t?

Players Listed as Out: Alex Lewis, Lorenzo Taliaferro

Well, Alex Lewis is going to miss at least six weeks so this isn’t surprising at all. It’s hard to worry about Lorenzo Taliaferro. The Ravens never seem to commit to the running game so not having their third option at running back is not a big deal.

Players Listed As Doubtful: Crockett Gillmore, Elvis Dumervil, Jimmy Smith

Crockett Gillmore being out isn’t the end of the world. It surely doesn’t help a struggling offense though and he is the team’s best blocking tight end. Elvis Dumervil has been out pretty much the entire season. I would be shocked if he actually played. Jimmy Smith being out always hurts the defense. The Ravens can’t rely on Shareece Wright to fill the void. We found that out last week, the hard way.

Players Listed As Questionable: Brandon Williams, Marshall Yanda, Timmy Jernigan

The Ravens need Yanda to play. It’s really that simple. It would be awfully hard to win without your two starting guards, especially your future hall of fame worthy guard. The Ravens can get by without Brandon Williams as Michael Pierce has surely proven himself. All three of these players should end up playing. Yanda is the most needed.

Bengals Injury Report:

Players Listed As Out: A.J. Green, Derron Smith

With A.J. Green out of the game the Jimmy Smith injury is less horrifying. Green is one of the best receivers in the NFL and he has a knack for beating the Ravens. He won’t be missed by Baltimore.

Players Listed As Doubtful: C.J. Uzomah, Shawn Williams, Clark Harris

Shawn Williams is having a pretty good season. He has 32 tackles on the year and two interceptions. Clark Harris is the Bengals long snapper. Special teams could be a factor in this game. The Ravens have a knack for blocking kicks too.
