The Baltimore Ravens Have The 16th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. The Ebony Bird team is here to give picks for the one pick in the draft, you care the most about.

The Baltimore Ravens have the 16th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. It’s the pick that we’ve been waiting for. It’s the moment in time that could change everything for the Baltimore Ravens, a team that has frustratingly gone without a playoff appearance in three of the past four seasons. Here is my pick for the Ravens.

Chris Schisler, Expert

Pick 16: Corey Davis

The Baltimore Ravens need to get their star wide receiver in the 2017 NFL Draft. They took Breshad Perriman in the 2015 NFL Draft because they lacked play-makers for the offense. While the jury is still out on Perriman, the need for a wide receiver has only become greater. The Ravens have very little they can count on in terms of play-making wide receivers. Mike Wallace isn’t a number one receiver. He’s a good part of the offensive equation but he isn’t the answer. It’s time the Ravens got their game changing, receiver.

The Ravens offense was hard to watch last season. Before the explosive offense in the Miami game, the Ravens offense seemed unable to have a big day. When they get going in 2017, the offense cannot hold a great defense back.

More from Ebony Bird

I am sick of watching top receivers on other teams. It’s a passing league, and the Ravens don’t have the weapons to make a passing game work. The Ravens need a player that makes life easier on offense. Davis is a do it all wide receiver. He would change the entire landscape of the offense. If the Ravens see Davis fall to them, they can’t pass him up. Davis is the number two ranked player on the Ebony Bird Big Board. He is special. It’s really that simple.

He was a big fish in a small pond. The entire game plan of his every opponent was revolved around stopping him. Davis still caught a grand total of 331 receptions for 5,278 yards and 52 touchdowns in four seasons at Western Michigan. No player will make more of an impact than Davis will as a rookie. Davis has the potential to become one of the best receivers of all-time. He plays like Antonio Brown in the body of Julio Jones. I want him wearing purple and black. When the 2017 NFL Draft starts, the Ravens will need play-makers.
