Who the Baltimore Ravens lost this off-season and who replaces them

The Baltimore Ravens underwent some heavy changes this off-season, but thankfully they were able to seamlessly replace what they lost.

Yes, the Baltimore Ravens undergo major turnover each off-season, but the 2018 edition was unlike anything we’ve seen before…

The Ravens will face a bounty of changes in 2019 with the losses of major starters across the roster. In some cases, the team looks to have upgraded. In others, we’re left wondering how on earth Baltimore will overcome these departures.

There’s a ton of moves to go over, as this past off-season was the busiest we’ve seen in a long-time, and that’s saying something. Still, we will not be mentioning replacing Joe Flacco with Lamar Jackson. Jackson was always viewed as the future of the franchise moving forward after being taken in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Following his remarkable second-half of the 2018 season, it should come as a surprise to no one that he is the guy Baltimore will roll with this year.

An honorable mention goes to the move to replace Alex Collins with Mark Ingram. While Collins departure from Charm City was far from normal, Ingram is a significant upgrade over the former Arkansas Razorback. Considering how well Gus Edwards stepped up once Collins was gone, the Ravens didn’t need a strong replacement for him anyways. Still, the addition of Ingram is a strong one.

Starters have left, as have major icons to the Baltimore Ravens franchise. In one off-season, the direction of the Ravens has drastically changed, but will it be for the better or for the worse? Let’s take a deeper look…
