We think the coaches did a pretty commendable job overall.  Leaving the starting offense on the field for the entire first half was smart after they struggled out of the gate.  Sure, you are taking a risk that someone might get injured, but you almost have to leave these games on a high note.  It would have been deflating to the offensive group to punt twice and then sit on the bench, whether they ultimately won the game or not.

We will also give props to the adjustments made on defense, even with replacement level back end out there.  It’s hard to know if the team could have done anything to stop Dez Bryant since he sat down following the Cowboy’s first scoring drive, but the rest of the unit settled in a bit following that series.  We like the fact that Dean Pees is letting C.J. Mosley get plenty of snaps in the preseason, as it shows a great deal of confidence in the rookie.
