3. Peter Boulware

Peter Boulware was the Ravens first great pass rusher. The fourth pick overall in 1997, Boulware was everything the Ravens hoped he would be. In 1997 he was the defensive rookie of the year. He was a 4 time Pro Bowler. Boulware was one of the great players that the Ravens defense was built around. Boulware flew around on the football field. He recorded 70 sacks in his career.

Boulware is now in the Ravens ring of honor at M&T Bank Stadium. Boulware was special from the start. He had 11.5 sacks in his first season. In 2001 Boulware had his best season; he had 15 sacks and 82 tackles. It’s pretty safe to say that Boulware is the man.

He played with the Ravens from 1997-2005. If it were not for injuries, Boulware may have had a few more great seasons. He was sidelined for the 2011 season. He was truly a Ravens legend.
