Free Safety:

1. Ladarius Webb: At this point in his career, Webb is a liability at the cornerback position. At the free safety spot, he has the speed and the ball skills to make it work. The Ravens are moving Webb to free safety. They were basically stuck with Webb financially, and they want to make their investment work. Webb is injury prone, but this move is intriguing. The Ravens trust his high football IQ, and they are hoping he becomes a ball hawk.

Webb got some time at free safety last season. He also played the position in his college days. Webb could be the next memorable corner who went to the safety position to end his career. We’ll see how this works out.

2. Kendrick Lewis: Lewis was a disappointing addition of last years team. It felt like he was routinely out of position. Lewis has speed and strength. What he does not have is a verifiable feel for the game. Lewis is however the backup plan to Webb.
