What if: The Ravens didn’t lose 4 games in a row?

After starting out the season 3-0, there was a ton of optimism for the Ravens going forward. Even though the offense was struggling to score points, the team was finding ways to win games. The next four games showed the true identity of the team. They dropped four straight games to the Raiders, Redskins, Giants, and Jets. It sent the Ravens from high hopes to a downward spiral.

Going from 3-0 to 3-4 is devastating, especially in the middle of the season. It is not like any of these games were blowouts. All four games were decided by eight points or less. I can live with the Redskins and Giants loss because the Ravens deserved to lose those, but the Jets and Raiders losses are unacceptable. If the Ravens win two of those games, they finish the season at 10-6. This puts them ahead of the Dolphins for the #6 in the playoffs.
