Positions The Ravens Should Save For The Draft:

If you haven’t picked up on it yet, I really want the Ravens to pick up a receiver or two in free agency. While John Ross could be an option at the 16th pick, it would be nice to have the receiver position figured out before the draft. That’s because the Ravens have to find cornerbacks and pass rushers in a draft class that is filled with them.

The Ravens should walk out of the draft with an improved secondary. A pass rushing addition and a replacement for Rick Wagner on the offensive line. There are plenty of options in this draft for that. At cornerback, there are ten players that I could justify taking in the first round. At pass rusher, a player like Charles Harris or maybe even Taco Charlton could be there with the 16th pick. The more I look at this draft class, the more I love the Ravens chances of being successful.

The Ravens should take care of receiver in the free agency. If they do anything more than that, it’s just gravy. The Ravens offense needs receivers desperately. I think it is the most lacking position on the Ravens roster as of now. If the Ravens focus on that in free agency, and make another move or two, they can fill their needs in the draft.
