2. Ryan Jensen:

Going into the season, the center position was a real concern for the Ravens. The Ravens lost John Urschel who decided to retire as training camp started. The Ravens didn’t have a solid answer at the center position, at least not a proven one. When Nico Siragusa and Alex Lewis went down, the Ravens needed Jensen to step into the role. Jensen stepped into the position and played well.

There were a few slip up moments, however Jensen exceeded expectations. When you consider where he was at the beginning of the year, and how he has become arguably the most important free agent for the Ravens to retain, you have to be impressed with Jensen.

Developed talent:

The most exciting thing about Jensen is he is a player that the Ravens have developed. He waited his turn, he got called into the action and he pulled through.

The offensive line had a lot of shakeups. The best offensive linemen the Ravens had is Ronnie Stanley. After that, it was Jensen the whole way through. When Jensen stood up for Joe Flacco in the Miami Dolphins game, he earned a lot of fans. If there is one thing that Jensen showed us, it’s that he’s tough and he doesn’t take anything out of line from the opponents.
