1. Matt Judon:

Matt Judon went from a potential star to a straight up stud in one season. He had 60 tackles, eight sacks and two forced fumbles on the season. Judon ended up being one of the most reliable players on the field. The Ravens added a lot to the outside linebacker position but Judon and Terrell Suggs did the bulk of the work. Judon improved as a pass rusher. He just about doubled his tackle count, and he did double his sack total from a year ago. Judon gave the Ravens reason to hope in his rookie season. This season, Judon showed that he should be a starter for years to come.

Terrell Suggs added 11 sacks of his own, giving the Ravens one of the most respectable outside linebacker duos in the NFL. When the Ravens drafted Tyus Bowser in the second round, they probably thought he would have a bigger role. Judon took care of business all season long. Judon was an impact player.

The Ravens took a fourth round pick from Grand Valley State and they got a core player. With all the complaining about the Ravens drafting, it is overlooked how good of a pick this was for the purple and black. Last season Judon was a good run defender who could provide a little extra pass rush as a rotational player. This season Judon is earning more playing time and is an all around great player.
