Another week, another game. What Ravens players can you depend on this week in Fantasy Football against the Denver Broncos?

Joe Flacco:

Joe Flacco, expectedly, came back down to earth against the Bengals on TNF. Still, Flacco had a relevant night for fantasy football nuts, putting out 17.04 points in standard scoring leagues (four-points per touchdown pass). Not great by any stretch, but it could’ve been a lot worse considering Flacco had three turnovers.

Now, Flacco returns back to Baltimore to face a Denver Broncos secondary that has been relatively lackluster. The Broncos are currently the 22nd ranked team in passing yards per game. Additionally, the team is 29th in completion percentage at a whopping 73.8%. This bodes well for Baltimore’s passing attack.

After a disappointing follow-up performance to his week one outing, Flacco should be looking to redeem himself, especially in front of a home crowd clamoring for change. Flacco should enjoy himself against Denver, but don’t expect godly numbers against a deadly pass rush featuring Von Miller.

Projection: 255 passing yards, two touchdowns, one interception

Alex Collins:

More from Ebony Bird

Alex Collins has been nothing short of disappointing thus far in 2018. While he has displayed his awesome cut-on-a-dime ability in the open field, he simply has not been as effective of a runner. Collins has a putrid 3.0 YPC so far and has already lost a fumble on just 16 carries.

Don’t expect those numbers to suddenly change this week, however. The Broncos are currently the tied for sixth in rushing yards allowed per game at just 78.0. Considering Collins has a mere 48 rushing yards through two games, this will likely be a frustrating afternoon.

If you can avoid starting Collins, you should until further notice. The Ravens identity thus far this season has been a surprisingly potent passing attack. The Ravens, of course, want to see Collins get rolling, but his struggles are certainly concerning.

Projection: 45 rushing yards, 0 rushing touchdowns, four receptions, 55 receiving yards

Javorius Allen:

The man known as “Buck” Allen has been the Ravens running back to own in fantasy football this year, even though though that’s still not saying much. And it certainly isn’t for his rushing ability, but rather his effectiveness in the passing game.

Allen actually leads the Ravens in receptions so far with 10 and is tied with John Brown (more on him later) for the team lead in touchdowns (two). Allen has received the much sought-after goal line touches and has capitalized with a touchdown in each game this season. While he has just 25 rushing yards on the season, his previously mentioned 10 receptions help him to standout. PPR formats will absolutely love this, as Allen has had five receptions in each of his two games in 2018.

Allen had 14.2 fantasy points and 15.4 points in PPR formats through the first two weeks of the season respectively. While his touchdowns are a huge part of this production, the volume he receives in the passing game is special. Allen could be a spot FLEX start if you’re struggling to find one this week. If he’s available on waivers, snatch him up now.

Projection: 25 rushing yards, 0 rushing touchdowns, five receptions, 35 receiving yards
