Baltimore Ravens Draft: Garrett Bradbury vs N’Keal Harry
The Case for N’Keal Harry:
Harry is my 2019 draft crush because he is everything Baltimore needs at receiver as well as something they’ve never had. Before the combine I was a little weary about Harry because on film he doesn’t look like the fastest player on the filed, but after running a 4.53 second 40-yard dash he solidified himself as a Raven in my book.
One of the traits Harry possesses that makes him a perfect fit in Baltimore is his hands. The reoccurring problem with the receivers in Baltimore the last few seasons has been catch reliability. Whether it was from Breshad Perriman, Mike Wallace, Michael Crabtree, or Jeremy Maclin, they seemed to let concentration drops get the best of them. That won’t be a problem with Harry.
I used a trait analysis from Kyle Crabbs on Garrett Bradbury so it only makes sense I use his on N’Keal Harry. According to Kyle Crabbs of The Draft Network,
"“N’Keal Harry projects favorably as a prototypical X-receiver in the NFL. Harry’s size, contested catch ability and skills defeating press coverage combine to offer an impressive package of traits, especially when considering the versatility Harry brings to an offense as a RAC receiver, deep threat and as a red-zone target. Harry may require some time to further develop but he has dominant traits.”"
If this doesn’t sound like the perfect wide receiver for Lamar Jackson as he continues to grow then I have no idea who is. Harry will bring reliable hands, catch radius, and sensational blocking to a team that desperately needs it.
