The Baltimore Ravens may be the defending AFC North Champions, but they have a lot to prove:

A young and inexperienced offense:

The Baltimore Ravens have a lot to prove on offense and it starts with Lamar Jackson. Jackson has to prove that he can be a franchise quarterback. Jackson has to prove that the Ravens can expand the offense with him under center and that he can consistently make all the throws. The Ravens are all in on Jackson as their quarterback for 2019. Jackson has to prove that the Raven can give Jackson the keys to the offense beyond this upcoming season.

The Ravens offense is shockingly young around Jackson. If you take out Marshal Yanda, Mark Ingram and Willie Snead, the entire offense is either in it’s prime or in the earliest stage of their career. Mark Andrews and Hayden Hurst are entering their second years. Marquise Brown, Miles Boykin, Ben Powers and Justice Hill should all get plenty of experience as rookies. The Ravens entire offense is an experiment and the subjects of that experiment are almost all inexperienced.

Outside of the Ravens 2019 draft picks is a bunch of receivers all vying for a shot. Chris Moore is entering his fourth season, however he hasn’t gotten involved much in the offense. Seth Roberts is a veteran receiver that has to find his spot in the receiving rotation. Players like Antoine Wesley, Jaylen Smith and Joe Horn Jr. are undrafted free agents that all are at least a little interesting. It will be interesting to see if Jordan Lasley or Jaleel Scott can work their way into the equation. There’s a lot to prove for the offense.
