Even More Predictions:

Prediction 7: Chris Moore will lead the Ravens in receiving yards this season

My Opinion: Sell

We haven’t seen any evidence that Chris Moore can be that kind of a receiver. Do I buy a breakout season from him? Yes. However a breakout season for a player whose best season equaled 248 yards isn’t becoming the most productive receiver on the team. A break out season for Moore is a 600-800 yard season.

Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews have very different ways of doing it, but they both have the ability to average over 16 yards per reception. Brown is a number one pick and he has traits that make him an irresistible target for Lamar Jackson. Andrews is a player who has built a strong chemistry with Jackson. Willie Snead’s reliability should make him the leader in receptions. Brown’s and Andrews big play potential should have them vying for more yards than Moore. Moore will have a good season. It is just hard to bet he does that.

Prediction 8: Lamar Jackson will be the second quarterback in NFL history to run for 1,000 yards in a season. (@Samcoulter811)

My Opinion: Buy

I’ve already discussed how I think Jackson will rush for 1,000 yards. To get this done he just has to average 62.5 yards on the ground per game. There will be games with more than that and games with less than that. The point is he is capable of literally running up his numbers in any game. Jackson will continue to make this kind of history.

Prediction 9: Mark Andrews leads the team in receptions, receiving yards and  touchdowns. (Kevin Topper @KevinTopper92)

My Opinion: Sell

I think this prediction is on the right track, yet it asks too much of Andrews. The thing is it’s hard not to buy this. Andrews is going to be a big part of the offense. Saying that Andrews would lead in any of these things is not an unthinkable thought. The problem is that for him to lead in all three of these things, the Ravens passing game would be leaning on one player too much. I think Andrews will be in the top three of each statistical category here. I’m selling it, however I almost bought it.

Prediction 10 and 11 both come from Jacob Vogel (@realjakevogel)

Prediction 10: The Ravens will come just short of the NFL rushing record. Mark Ingram will make the Pro Bowl and Gus Edwards and Justice Hill will be big contributors:

My Opinion: Buy

The Ravens are going to run the football a lot. I think people are under looking the progress the Ravens will make as a passing team, though they will always be a run first team. I agree with this. I’ve already bought the prediction that Ingram would be the top producing running back in the division so this shouldn’t come as a surprise. When it comes to Gus Edwards and Justice Hill, they are going to have to produce. If the Ravens are making this kind of noise with the running game, they will be running at an historic rate. That’s going to take three running backs. Edwards showed that he is a perfect fit with the team. Hill has big play potential and this is a trio to be excited about.

Prediction 11: The Ravens will finish top 3 in takeaways and Earl Thomas and Marlon Humphrey will make the Pro Bowl.

My Opinion: Buy

I think one of the reasons the Ravens lacked the turnover numbers they expected last year was there wasn’t enough speed at the safety position. I think Earl Thomas is an upgrade there. Weddle was often in the right spot to break up a play but Thomas will take those same situations and be in position to make the play. If the Ravens are a playoff team their secondary will be a big reason for it. With this kind of impact Thomas and Marlon Humphrey better make the Pro Bowl.

Next. 3 goals for Lamar Jackson this season. dark
