Ian Schultz’s prediction:

The Ravens head to Kansas City searching for their third win of the season taking on Patrick Mahomes and the high flying Chiefs.

Weather will be a factor Sunday as rain is expected to fall throughout the contest. This could help the Ravens slow down the potent Chiefs offense.

The Ravens secondary will have their hands full with Sammy Watkins, Travis Kelce, Demarcus Robinson, and rookie Mecole Hardman. Last week they struggled with Kyler Murray and Arizona’s air raid offense.

Offensively the Ravens figure to have some success against a weak Chiefs defensive unit. Lamar Jackson and company should be able to keep pace with the Chiefs but look for Kansas City to emerge victorious.

I really wanted to pick the Ravens in this game. However, the combination of the weapons that the Chiefs have at their disposal and the fact that Arrowhead Stadium will be rocking for the Chiefs home opener, I couldn’t do it. The Ravens will do enough to keep this game competitive but ultimately Mahomes and company will be too much for Baltimore.
Prediction: Kansas City wins 37-26
