3. The Ravens want Matt Judon back:

Harbaugh was asked how much he wanted to see Matt Judon return to the Ravens in 2020 and how hard it would be to get it done. His answer was this:

"“Very much and pretty hard. You know, so we’re going to try. You know and haven’t we signed eight of our guys this year, I think if you do the count. So there’s no question that that’s a priority for us. That’s something that’s really important to us. So we’re going to try to get as many of these guys signed up that we can. Matt’s probably right up at the top of the list, for sure.”"

The Ravens would be in a bad spot on the edge if they didn’t re-sign Matt Judon. Harbaugh said he’d stay out of the business side of things. The Ravens have a player in Judon who plays at a premium position. Whether or not he ever reaches the level of Terrell Suggs, he is the player who succeeds him at the outside linebacker position.

Judon is the big personality, the best run defender and the best pass rusher the Ravens currently have. Look at what else the Ravens have on the edge. They have Jaylon Ferguson and Tyus Bowser, players they are still waiting on to reach their full potential. If pass rusher is one of the top concerns going into the offseason, losing Judon would be bad for the Ravens. Harbaugh’s answer was about as strong of a yes as he could have gotten it without making the team look desperate to keep him. It’s fairly easy to understand why,.

Next. Many Ravens at fault for playoff loss to the Titans. dark

The Ravens will have their state of the Ravens press conference with Steve Bisciotti and Eric DeCosta in the near future. Press conferences can often offer interesting insight, especially after such a harrowing loss in the playoffs. Harbaugh’s press conference offered a good bit of perspective. One thing is sure, Harbaugh has the right energy heading into the offseason. That’s something that could rub off on the rest of the franchise moving forward.
