Yannick Ngakoue:

The former Maryland product has long been linked to the Baltimore Ravens via a clamoring fan base that loves Terrapins playing for the hometown team. Fans have long wanted Yannick Ngakoue to come back to Charm City and now that he’s a free agent he could very well come back and suit up in purple and black.

The Jacksonville Jaguars locker room has been a mess in recent years and it appears that players can’t wait to leave. Dante Fowler and Jalen Ramsey have not been shy about their feelings towards the organization, and now it appears that Ngakoue may have similar thoughts…

The tweet is certainly cryptic and up to us to speculate on, but given some former player’s disgruntled thoughts about the Jaguars, it feels fair to assume there is some kind of similar substance there.

But beyond all the drama is the fact that Ngakoue would be a great fit for what the Baltimore Ravens like in their pass rushers. Ngakoue has most of his experience in a 4-3 defense with his hand in the dirt, but he’s more than talented enough to run Baltimore’s odd fronts. The production is also there, with the 24-year old recording 37.5 sacks over his first four seasons in the NFL. Ngakoue is vicious off the snap and would pair nicely across from Matt Judon (provided he stays in Baltimore for 2020).

Bringing Ngakoue back to Baltimore sounds like a dream come true for Ravens fans. He tops our list of wants for this offseason.
