Power rankings: Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs fight for top spot

20. Houston Texans, 0-2 (15)

I wouldn’t be surprised to see this as a top-12 team by the end of the season, but their schedule isn’t doing them any favors, opening with Kansas City, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh. Yuck. Also, that offensive line… yuck.

19. Los Angeles Chargers, 1-1 (22)

They took the Chiefs to overtime with rookie quarterback Justin Herbert given the ball minutes before kickoff. They have a lot of talent up and down their roster but need to finish games. This team is TBD.

18. Chicago Bears, 2-0 (25)

The Flying Trubiskys are taking the league by storm, and are your early Super Bowl favorites. I just made that up, but they are undefeated after beating the Lions and Giants. Let’s see what happens going forward.

17. Indianapolis Colts, 1-1 (19)

Beating the Vikings evened up their record and moved them up a little. The season will depend a ton on the arm of quarterback Philip Rivers. That sentence meant more 10 years ago.
