5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State

There are few players in the 2021 NFL Draft that are as exciting to watch as Trey Lance at quarterback. While I don’t believe Gardner Minshew is the problem in Jacksonville, it’s hard to pass up the opportunity to get such a special talent in Lance. The Jaguars offense is instantly better with Lance thanks to his lively arm and ability to break the defense with his legs.

6. Washington Football Team: Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State

Dwayne Haskins hasn’t been what Washington envisioned he could be when it made him the 15th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Washington could use an upgrade at the most important position in football and lands a stellar option in Justin Fields. Fields brings a whole new aspect to the offense thanks to his running ability while also proving to be an adequate passer. Fields could turn out to be the best quarterback in the NFC East by the time his rookie deal is up.

7. Dallas Cowboys: Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama

To call the Cowboys defense horrendous would be an understatement. Upgrades are needed at virtually every position, but nabbing Patrick Surtain II here is an awesome addition. Surtain has NFL bloodlines and ball skills that will translate to the next level. Pairing him with former teammate Trevon Diggs would give Dallas a terrific one-two punch at cornerback.

8. Denver Broncos: Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State

Micah Parsons is a freaky athlete who can do a little bit of everything from his linebacker spot. Parsons would put the fear back into opposing offenses and give the Broncos defense the validity its been lacking since its 2015 unit.
