3. Mark Andrews could stay hot:

Don’t look now but Mark Andrews may be getting back to being a dominant tight end. In the past two games, he has totaled a combined 12 receptions for 157 yards. Against the Titans, he has one of the most beautiful touchdowns of the season and 96 yards. Andrews getting going could be what it takes to get the offense back on track. It’s not exactly a secret, Andrews is Jackson’s favorite target. The better Andrews does the better the Ravens offense does.

The Ravens didn’t finish the game the way they wanted to, yet against the Titans, they showed some very encouraging positive steps. The offense was moving the ball down the field for much of the game. Did they need to do better in the red zone? Absolutely. They settled for nine points worth of field goals that could have given them 21 points. We’ve been negative enough, you have to see the light through the darkness. Andrews picking up his pace is the crack of light through the cloud over this team.

The last time the Ravens played the Steelers, Andrews was held to just three catches. So why am I so encouraged? Well, that was a week to week problem. Baltimore has played 10 games and in six games Andrews has been held under four receptions. We haven’t seen dominant Andrews since the season opener against the Cleveland Browns. We haven’t seen Andrews pick up this kind of momentum in a while.

Look around the offense. Who else is making the big play? The bad thing is that the Steelers know this. The good thing is they may not be able to stop it if the Jackson and Andrews connection is fully back online. The Ravens need a big game from Jackson. The only way for that to happen is a big game from Andrews. Where there is a will, you have to hope there is a path forward.
