Round 4, 117th Overall, Ravens: Coby Bryant, CB, Cincinnati

This is another position we would’ve liked to have addressed earlier, but we managed to get a little lucky regardless, landing a player who many believe is more of a Day 2 prospect.

In such a deep and talented cornerback class, Cincinnati’s Coby Bryant has flown a little under the radar. At 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, Bryant has ideal length to be a starting boundary cornerback in the NFL.

He plays with an unmatched competitive drive and possesses the ball skills the Ravens desperately need in their secondary. Bryant has 18 passes defended, three fumbles forced, and seven interceptions over the last two seasons.

Bryant could immediately take over Anthony Averett’s role with the former Alabama standout likely leaving in free agency. The Ravens love having extra cornerback depth, and Bryant provides them with exactly that.

Round 4, 126th Overall, Ravens: Cole Strange, OG, Chattanooga

Cole Strange has the look and feel of a Ravens player. At 6-foot-6, 301 pounds, Strange played left tackle, left guard, and center in college, but most of his experience is at guard.

He’s a nasty blocker who finishes his blocks and plays with a killer attitude. Even at just over 300 pounds, Strange is a true people-mover in the running game.

Strange has impressive strength at the point of attack, and while he isn’t amazing in pass protection, he has enough lateral mobility to keep speed rushers at bay, especially if he plays inside.

Some players just feel destined to go to certain teams. That’s definitely the case with Cole Strange and the Ravens.
