The Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Commanders practiced together for one final time on the second of their back-to-back joint sessions on Wednesday before they square off next Monday in D.C.

Physicality was once again present and a bit higher than any intra-team session would bring, but all players and coaches involved in the drills seemed to love the thing and we have to agree with it.

The main storyline coming out of The Castle midweek didn't actually and literally come out of the Under Armour Performance Center, though, with reporters watching live reporting the absence of Marlon Humphrey from practices and the later confirmation of the cornerback's undergoing foot surgery and expectations to miss at least one month while rehabbing.

Here are some of the highlights and quotes that the second joint practice between Ravens and Commanders offered us on Wednesday, Aug. 16, with both finally meeting each other in a mid-summer matchup next Monday.

Happy Harbaugh turned sad the minute Marlon Humphrey's injury questions popped up

Head Coach John Harbaugh discussed the joint practices held on Tuesday and Wednesday along with the Washington Commanders and was happy with the outcome and the work both squads put on making it harder for the other team to excel at the drills.

Bad news indeed confirmed by Coach Harbs as Humphrey won't miss a long time but enough to remain out for at least a few weeks and potentially the start of the regular season.
