In 2022, the Cincinnati Bengals got off to a slow start after Joe Burrow missed the preseason and it looks like more of the same in 2023.

The Bengals are 0-1 and in danger of falling to 0-2 against another division rival.

The Baltimore Ravens cruised past the Houston Texans in Week 1 and despite a couple of injuries, BetSided NFL betting analyst Iain MacMillan likes Baltimore to beat Burrow and the Bengals in Cincinnati.

Betting analyst prediction for Ravens in Week 2

Lamar Jackson might have a new favorite receiver in Zay Flowers and the Ravens passing game seems much more advanced under Todd Monken. With the moves Baltimore made in the offseason, both to the coaching staff and the roster, BetSided NFL betting analyst Iain MacMillan was high on the Ravens.

“I had two predictions for these teams heading into the season," MacMillan wrote. "I thought the Ravens would win the AFC North and I thought the Bengals would get off to a slow start through the first few weeks. We saw the same thing from Burrow and the Bengals last season when he missed the preseason with appendicitis. He might just be a guy that needs a few games to find his stride.”

Their Week 1 performance did not surprise MacMillan, but the line in this game did.

“It's hard to take much away from the Ravens after they took care of business against one of the worst teams in the NFL in the Texans," MacMillan wrote. "I'm surprised we're able to get 3.5-points on the Ravens this week so that's exactly the direction I'm going to go.”

If you want to bet with the betting analyst you should take the Ravens +3.5 in Cincinnati.
