The NFL MVP race has been a rollercoaster throughout the season, but after a 321-yard, five touchdown performance against the Miami Dolphins, Lamar Jackson has ended the discussion.
According to the betting odds, Week 18 will have no impact on the final outcome. Jackson has locked up his second NFL MVP award while leading the Baltimore Ravens to the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
NFL MVP odds
At -9000 odds, Lamar Jackson's implied probability of being named the NFL MVP is 98.9%. You would have to bet $9,000 on him to profit a measly $100. So, betting on him to win MVP is not worth your time at this point.
The good news is that Ravens fans have the league's MVP on their team, the bad news is that it's too late to profit on him if you haven't bet on him already.
With that being said, we still have an opportunity to place a few bets on this Ravens team. After their Week 17 win against the Dolphins, the Ravens are now the clear No. 2 option to win Super Bowl 58. They are the favorites out of the AFC at +350 odds and are just behind the 49ers as overall favorites, despite beating them 33-19 last week.
The Ravens are entering the postseason looking almost unbeatable. They've now beat arguably the two best teams in the NFL in back-to-back weeks by a combined score of 89-38.
If you want to bet on them to win the Super Bowl, now's your chance. They're currently available at +350 odds which means a $100 wager would win you a profit of $350 if they're able to achieve the feat.
