The regular season kept going without regard for tropical storm Ophelia as the Baltimore Ravens (2-1) hosted the young Indianapolis Colts (2-1) in an effort to try and win their third consecutive game this season to sit atop the AFC North all alone... only to fall in overtime.
Baltimore entered Week 3 boasting a house full of injured players. The Flock ruled out seven players on Friday, and six of those (barring Justice Hill) can be considered starters. Add three more who were already on IR or got placed into it throughout the week leading up to Sunday, and the Ravens were missing 10 starters.
The Colts weren't in a much better position, mind you, mostly because they lost QB Anthony Richardson for the Week 3 matchup at Baltimore after the rookie suffered a concussion in their Week 2 game last weekend. Enter Mighty Gardner Minshew.
If you couldn't follow the Week 3 game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Indianapolis Colts we've got you covered with a curated set of content that popped up as the game progressed.
Here is everything you need to know, read, and watch about the clash between Birds and Horses for Week 3 of the 2023 NFL regular season at M&T Bank Stadium, which marked the first loss of the Ravens this season.

β Jamison Hensley (@jamisonhensley) September 24, 2023
Lamar Jackson and #Ravens get the ball for the first time at their 20-yard line.
Jackson's elusiveness and the benefit of a slick jersey has him evade Blackmon on the sack and turns it into a 1-yard gain. He's magic on the gridiron.

Ravens made it look far too easy.

12 plays, 80 yards, 6:31 TOP.
Jackson started the drive with an 11-yard rush and ends it with an 8-yard touchdown run. Mix that in with Gus Edwards hard runs and chip passes to Andrews, Flowers and Bateman and that's 7 on the board.

Ravens have to hold on to the ball. Their past three drives have ended:
Fumble
Recovered fumble on sack
Lost fumble on sack
Sam Mustipher puts the ball into the ground on third down and Jackson has to dive on it.
β Kyle Phoenix Barber (@KylePBarber) September 24, 2023
Aborted play. Three and out.
The Ravens can't get themselves out of the funk since the Kenyan Drake fumble.
Mustipher snaps a ball that was both too low and Jackson wasn't looking for it anyway. Ravens lucky to not turn the ball over there, too. After the first drive, Ravens offense has looked really bad and mistake-prone.

Ravens: 7
Ravens have lost two fumbles and have had multiple 3 and outs.
Kyle Hamilton has 3 sacks.
Nothing on offense has gone the Ravens' way since their first drive.
Ravens go into halftime, trailing 10-7.
β Jeff Zrebiec (@jeffzrebiec) September 24, 2023
Story for Ravens was mistakes. Kenyan Drake fumble on Colts 20. Lamar Jackson fumble on own 20. And failure of Ravens to pick up a Minshew fumble in Colts territory prevents Ravens from having shot at late second-quarter points.
In the first half ...
β Jamison Hensley (@jamisonhensley) September 24, 2023
Lamar Jackson is a perfect 7-of-7 passing.
Ravens are averaging 4.9 yards per carry.
Kyle Hamilton has 3 sacks.
But #Ravens are down 10-7. That's the impact of turnovers.
#Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton is the first defensive back since Jamal Adams in 2019 to have three sacks in a game, per @ESPNStatsInfo.
β Jamison Hensley (@jamisonhensley) September 24, 2023
Hamilton still has another half to play.
Ravens down, 10-7, at halftime.
Ravens outgained Colts, 148-138 in first half. Colts won time of possession, 17:45 to 12:15.
β Jeff Zrebiec (@jeffzrebiec) September 24, 2023
Jackson 7-of-7 for 89 yards; 5 rushes for 31 yards, TD.
Minshew 14-for-20 for 103 yards and a TD.
Ravens halftime thoughts:

The defense, led by Kyle Hamilton, has bailed the offense out a few times. But that can only last so long.

Matt Gay knocks through the 54-yard field goal.

Colts: 13
Ravens: 7
Good job by Jadeveon Clowney with a quarterback hit on 3rd down. Kyle Hamilton continues to shine on delayed blitzes. Matt Gay connects a 54-yard field goal and the Colts leads by six, 13-7. Time for the offense to bounce back.
