We're in for a potential Super Bowl preview on Monday night when the Baltimore Ravens head to the West Coast to take on the San Francisco 49ers.

Despite being the best team in the AFC, the Ravens are upwards of 6-point underdogs to the 49ers on Christmas Day night. If you check out my best bets in this week's edition of the "Road to 272 Bets", you'll know that I like the Ravens to cover.

In this article, we're talking prop bets. There are three that I'm targeting for Monday night.

Ravens vs. 49ers prop bets

  • Gus Edwards OVER 39.5 rushing yards
  • Lamar Jackson OVER 55.5 rushing yards
  • Brock Purdy UNDER 252.5 passing yards

Gus Edwards OVER 39.5 rushing yards

We're banking on the Ravens being able to find success on the ground against this 49ers defense on Monday night. They quietly rank 29th in opponent rush EPA, 21st in opponent rush success rate, and 19th in opponent yards per carry, giving up 4.3 yards per rush and 5.1 yards per carry over their last three games.

What do the Ravens do best? Run the football. So, we're going to start with Gus Edwards to rush for at least 40 yards. He ran for 58 yards on 16 carries last week and I expect a similar performance against San Francisco.

Lamar Jackson OVER 55.5 rushing yards

You can just go ahead and take what I wrote above it apply it to this bet as well. What should help us even more on this bet is the strength of the 49ers secondary. Lamar Jackson is going to struggle to find open receivers at times throughout the game and he'd be smart to take off with his legs when that happens.

He's averaging 54.8 rushing yards per game this season so as long as he record one more yard than that mark, this bet will be a winner for us.

Brock Purdy UNDER 252.5 passing yards

MVP favorite, Brock Purdy, is about to have his toughest matchup of the season. The Ravens are allowing only 4.9 yards per pass attempt this season, 0.5 yards fewer than the next best team. 252.5 passing yards is too high a total for any quarterback against this Ravens secondary, including the MVP favorite.
