NFL MVP odds: Lamar Jackson makes massive leap, tied as favorite
Lamar Jackson's MVP odds have got better and better over the past few weeks

The Baltimore Ravens are the hottest team in the NFL, led by their quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Oddsmakers are starting to recognize Jackson for just how good he's been this season, and DraftKings has his odds to win the NFL MVP this season tied at the top of the list along with Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts at +350.

At +350 odds, it gives each of the three quarterbacks a 22.22% chance of winning NFL MVP. A $100 bet on Jackson to win his second NFL MVP award would win you a profit of $350 if he's able to achieve the feat.
With a big part of Jackson's game coming on the ground, we have to evaluate him a little bit differently than the other quarterbacks since he won't have the passing numbers that the likes of Mahomes and Hurts will have.
With that being said, he has just three interceptions on the year and has done a much better job protecting the football than Hurts and Mahomes who have eight interceptions each.
Lamar is having by far his best season since being named MVP in 2019. His quarterback rating sits at 100.8, which is his second best mark in his career but still not quite to the level of 2019 when he has a quarterback rating of 113.3 and a QBR of 83.0.
The good news is, Jackson has seemingly got better and better on a weekly basis after a bit of an average few weeks to start the season. Now is the perfect time to bet on him to win MVP while he's trending upwards.
