Baltimore opens as a 7.5-point favorite at home against Indianapolis in Week 3
The Ravens have looked impressive through a 2-0 start and it seems that oddsmakers are already taking them seriously.
Baltimore opens Week 3 as a hefty 7.5-point favorite over visiting Indianapolis (1-1) – a team that has scored 52 points through its first two games -- with the total points set at 44.5.
But even considering Indy’s unexpected early success, Baltimore is still in a strong position to win and cover the spread.

JK Dobbins or not, the Baltimore offense has looked like one of the better units in the NFL through two weeks under new offensive coordinator Todd Monken.
The stats haven’t been spectacular yet, but this is clearly the deepest group of weapons Lamar Jackson has ever had at his disposal.
In Sunday’s Week 2 win over Cincinnati, Jackson completed 3+ passes to six different receivers and five different players carried the ball.
However, the Colts’ offense might not be as good as their first two weeks indicate, especially if QB Anthony Richardson has to sit out with the concussion he suffered on Sunday.
When you also consider that Indy has scored just one more point than its allowed this season, it’s easy to see why Baltimore (+19 point differential) is so heavily favored at home.
This line could move even more in Baltimore’s favor, too. The Ravens are currently favored to score Over 26.5 points (-118 odds) while the Colts are favored to score Under 17.5 points (-118 odds) – a nine point difference in expected scoring despite a 7.5-point spread.
If Richardson is announced out for this game, that’s another reason you might expect this line to shift.
