The NFL Playoff Picture is officially set and as we already know, the Baltimore Ravens are the No. 1 seed in the AFC and will get a week of rest during the Wild Card Round.

There's an argument to be made the Baltimore Ravens are the best team in the NFL, but despite beating the 49ers just a few weeks ago, Baltimore is second on the odds list to win Super Bowl 58 behind the odds leader, San Francisco.

Ravens odds to win Super Bowl 58

The Ravens are +350 to win the Super Bowl at FanDuel Sportsbook. If you translate those odds to implied probability, the Ravens have a 22.22% chance of lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy. A $100 bet on them to win would get you a profit of $350 if they're able to achieve the feat.

The Ravens have longer odds than the 49ers despite beating them a few weeks ago, but that's likely due to the Ravens path to the Super Bowl. The NFC is the significantly weaker conference at this point in time with the Cowboys likely the only challenge for the 49ers. Meanwhile, the AFC Playoffs are stacked, with every team having a realistic shot at the Super Bowl outside of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Will the Ravens win the Super Bowl?

The Ravens are the scariest team in the NFL right now and are rightful favorites to come out of the AFC. Here's where they rank in some key metrics:

  • Net Yards per Play: 3rd
  • Average scoring margin: 1st
  • Offensive EPA per Play: 6th
  • Offensive success rate: 4th
  • Opponent EPA per Play: 2nd
  • Opponent success rate: 6th
  • Points per game: 4th
  • Opponent points per play: 1st

While the Ravens aren't the best offensive team or the best defensive team, they're absolutely the most well-rounded, even more so than the Super Bowl favorites, the 49ers, who are only above average defensively.

The Ravens are the only playoff team who rank inside the top six in the NFL in offensive EPA and success rate as well as defensive EPA and success rate. That's good news for the Ravens and their fans. They have no glaring weakness or an area that opponents can attack.

Who will the Ravens play in the Divisional Round?

With the Ravens rocking the first-round BYE, we don't know who exactly they'll play in the Divisional Round, but we can narrow it down and try to make a prediction.

First of all, we know they won't play either the Buffalo Bills or the Kansas City Chiefs, who are the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds, respectively. The Ravens will play the lowest advancing seed, which means the highest possible seed they can play is the No. 4 seed. That leaves the following teams as possible opponents for the Ravens:

  • Houston Texans
  • Cleveland Browns
  • Miami Dolphins
  • Pittsburgh Steelers

If the three division winners all win in the Wild Card Round, the Ravens will welcome the Texans to Baltimore for the Divisional Round. Additionally, if the Steelers win, we'll get an AFC North rematch no matter the results of the other three games.

If I were to make a prediction, I'd say we're going to see a Week 17 rematch between the Ravens and Dolphins. The Steelers are double-digit underdogs to the Bills, so I'm crossing that off as a possibility. That leaves the Dolphins, who have a chance to upset the Chiefs in the opening round as 3.5-point underdogs.

If the Dolphins do pull off the upset, that'll be the Ravens opponent unless the Steelers are also able to upset the Bills. So, don't be surprised if we see Miami heading to Baltimore for the second time in four weeks.
