Ravens vs. Titans best anytime touchdown scorer picks (Zay Flowers bounces back)

Lamar Jackson's wide receivers need to actually hang onto the football and if they can, it'll be a big day for the Baltimore offense in Tennessee.

Last week was a disastrous loss for the Baltimore Ravens against the Steelers.

Baltimore had drops from its receivers all over the place that cost it the game, but this week against the Tennessee Titans, Lamar Jackson’s favorite targets will have a chance to atone for their mistakes.

The Titans have one of the worst passing defenses in the NFL, so it’s time for Lamar and his new weapons to dominate in Todd Monken’s offense. I’m backing a couple of those pass-catchers this week with anytime touchdown picks.

Now, let’s take a look at some anytime TD scorer picks for Baltimore against Tennessee.

Ravens vs. Titans anytime TD picks

  • Zay Flowers +190
  • Gus Edwards +162
  • Nelson Agholor +475

Zay Flowers

Last week, Flowers led Baltimore in receiving yards with 73 on five catches, but it was a forgettable performance. He could have easily finished over 100 yards without a big drop on a play he may have been able to turn into a catch-and-run touchdown.

Flowers has been the one of the best rookie wide receivers in the NFL and leads the Ravens with 29 receptions on 40 targets, but he’s yet to reach the end zone.

That will finally end this week with his first career touchdown.

Gus Edwards

It was Justice Hill who found his way into the end zone last week, not Edwards. That’s Hill’s third rushing touchdown and Edwards still has just one.

However, Edwards leads the team in carries at 56 and is second in rushing yards to Jackson at 241. The Titans have a stout rushing defense which ranks ninth overall and seventh in yards per rush, but I still expect Edwards to have a solid day running the ball.

Hopefully that means he can find the end zone.

Nelson Agholor

As is common with Agholor throughout his career, he had the most egregious drop of any Raven against the Steelers.

It would have been a walk-in touchdown on a deep ball, but it went right through his hands. Agholor is the big-play threat on this offense and the Titans are known to give up some big plays.

Agholor averages 12.1 yards per reception, the highest of any Baltimore receiver and Tennessee ranks 27th in the NFL in yards per attempt allowed at 7.4. He’ll get another chance to get behind the defense and I think this time he’ll hang onto it.
