Has It Really Been A Year?

A year ago today, I started writing on this blog. Let me say first that this year has absolutely flown by.  A year ago, I had very little idea of what I was doing and looking at some of the writing I did, it has greatly improved.  I’ve had the honor and privilege to work with several incredible bloggers, both fans and professionals, and interact with readers.  I’ve discovered the wonders of internet communication and how awesome the internet is for instant news and reaction.

When I started on here, I just wanted a soapbox for my ideas where others could share their ideas as well.  Let me say, that after a year, it’s worked out very well.  Some special thanks need to go out to Adam and Zach Best, the co-founders/coordinators of the FanSided Network, all of the bloggers on the network that gave me tips, helped me with links and were always friendly, cooperative and very professional.  Thank you to Casey for helping me out with posts and coming up with some great content.  And most of all, thank you to those of you reading this, and those of you who read as much of my stuff as you can, and comment, and send me messages on Twitter and send me emails.  You know who you are, and you’re what makes covering the Ravens on this site so enjoyable.

P.S-I almost forgot to give a great, huge thank you to Jarrett Carter, the blogger before me.  You’ve been so helpful to me this past year, and you’ve been one of my main influences.  The work you do is excellent and thanks for the opportunity.
