Are You A “Displaced Fan”? Want To Go The Super Bowl For Free? Here’s How.

No, it’s not a scam like those spam emails you get from the African princes, nor is it a ponzi scheme. Basically, if you’re more clever than every other NFL fan living in a city that is not the city the team plays in (don’t worry, I’ll clarify in a second), you could win an all-expense paid trip to Dallas in February to (hopefully) see the Ravens take home their second Lombardi Trophy.

What’s happening is the DIRECTV America’s Ultimate Displaced NFL Fan contest. Here’s some clippings from the official press release:

While that date does say October 1st, you can still enter the contest. I’ve been told through the grapevine that creative video entries give you the best chance of winning, whether it’s the Super Bowl tickets, or one of the various other prizes.

To sum it up, if you’re a Ravens fan (or a fan of any other team, we’re not segregating here) that lives in a different city, you are eligible for this contest. So if you own 25 Ravens jerseys and live in San Diego, you can win. If you have a man-crush on Michael Oher and you live in Alaska, you can win. For parity’s sake, if you’re a Jaguars fan living in Baltimore, you can win. If you’re a Steelers fan living in Baltimore, please leave now.
