Ed Reed has struggled with a shoulder injury this whole season and he seemed to aggravate it early in the game. Despite grimaces of pain, Reed showed why he’s the best and came back into the game on the next play. He continued to to play at a high level and made many game changing plays including a huge interception in the last few minutes of the forth quarter. On the last play of the game, Texans quarterback T.J. Yates threw a Hail Mary into the endzone. Reed jumped up in an attempt to knock it down and landed awkwardly on his left leg.

The injury looked serious at first and Reed had to be carried off the field. However, he was on the field for post game hand shakes and played it down during the press conference. Luckily, his x-rays were negative and it’s being classified as a ankle sprain. Reed stated that he will play next week in New England.
