Joe Flacco and Torrey Smith receive Weekly Awards

The Ravens are already past the Browns but the fans aren’t done talking about the game against the Patriots.

For their efforts in the Game Ravens player Joe Flacco and Torrey Smith were awarded FedEx Air Player of the Week and GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week respectively.

Flacco received the award based purely on his statistics. he racked up over 350 yards and 3 TDs and led the team down the field to set up the game winning field goal by Justin Tucker.

Smith Received his award based not just on his stats, which were a pretty impressive 6 catches for 126 yards and 2 TDs, but also for his perseverence. Smith, as you likely know by know, was playing less than 24 hours after the Death of his younger brother Tevin.

The Awards were both the result of fan based votes.
