The Ravens couldn’t have had a much better Sunday in week seven.  Not only did they pick up a win against the Atlanta Falcons, but they also got some outside help as the Cincinnati Bengals were shut out by the Indianapolis Colts.  That series of events moved the Ravens into first place in the AFC North ahead of their second game against the Bengals in week eight.

So instead of playing for first place next week, the Ravens have become the target instead.  Further helping matters, the Browns lost on the road to the Jaguars, putting them another game behind.  So while the Ravens performance against the Falcons wasn’t flawless, they still got the job done and avoided a letdown ahead of their two game road divisional stretch.

As we do each week, we have analyzed statistics and film of the Ravens latest game and assigned letter grades to each unit based on their performance.  We also provide the insight we gained while looking beneath the surface, the kind of stuff you may not see when watching a live game.  Click next to see how the AFC North leaders performed in week seven with our Baltimore Ravens grades.
