Kamar Aiken, Young Receivers Give Ravens A Boost In Win
The Baltimore Ravens Beat The Colts 19-18. Kamar Aiken & Company Played A Big Role In The Preseason Win:
The Ravens had a slow start in the first quarter. In the second quarter the offense finally got some good work done. The Ravens grabbed a 7-3 lead after getting a spark from Kamar Aiken.
The momentum started when Ryan Mallet took a deep shot to Kamar Aiken. As Qadry Ismial pointed out perfectly in his 98 rock commentary, Aiken did a great job of fighting back to the football to draw a pass interference penalty. Then Kamar Aiken got open on a crossing route and scored an easily on a 14 yard touchdown. Aiken gave Baltimore fans the first thing to cheer about in this game.

Next Chris Moore and Jeremey Butler got involved in the action. Moore had three receptions for 20 yards in the first half. Butler caught four passes for 35 yards and a touchdown.
The strong performance is especially important for Butler. The third year receiver out of Tennessee-Martin is on the roster bubble. The Ravens have a ton of talent at the wide receiver position. It seems like Butler has the everything the Ravens are looking for. When Butler can shine like he did tonight it makes it hard for the Ravens to cut him.

The Ravens receivers played well tonight. Continuing to show that he is an up and coming player, Aiken led the way. Moore had a solid game as well. It seemed like he had generated a ton of buzz in training camp and it was nice to see him make plays in the game. At the end of the day the Ravens have so much talent at the receiver position.
