The Baltimore Ravens might not been done adding wide receivers just yet

The Ravens just made a huge splash by signing free agent wide receiver Jeremy Maclin to a 2-year deal, but are they done? Not so fast. They could add another wide receiver. ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted that the Ravens are still be in the running for Eric Decker as well.

Adding two big free agent wide receivers would be uncharacteristic, but Ravens fans would not complain. The Ravens have made a ton of moves this offseason to improve the defense and now the offense is finally getting some love.

Decker would be a major addition to the Ravens offense. It would give Joe Flacco a red-zone target that has been missing since Anquan Boldin was traded. Decker has dealt with injuries, but he is healthy now and will be a dangerous receiver for whatever team he goes to.

While the excitement is there, does adding another receiver like Decker make sense now? It may be time to calm down for a minute and soak everything in. The Ravens still have some other big holes to fill.

Zrebiec makes a great point. Offensive line is the major need now that the Ravens have added a wide receiver. They will certainly be keeping their options open in free agency.

As it stands, James Hurst is the best option at right tackle. As we’ve seen from experience, there isn’t a ton of confidence there. Joe Flacco can have some great receivers, but he’s still got to have time to throw the football.
