The Combine and Ravens FAs
By Joe Barnes
There have been some intriguing Combine stories, of course Crabtree having the stress fracture, but some others. Our hometown boy, Darius Heyward-Bey ran the fastest 40 time of the combine so far, running a 4.29, but that is pretty slow for him.
Mark Sanchez will throw, Matt Stafford will not.
A 260-pound running back from Texas A+M ran a 4.4 forty
Pat White ran a 4.5 forty, one of the fastest, if not the fastest ever for the QB position.
Possible #1 pick Andre Smith, the tackle from Alabama, left the combine unannounced.
Louis Vasquez, a guard from Texas Tech that I said could be a possible mid-round pick for the Ravens is leading the combine with 39 reps. That’s alot.
My man Tiquan Underwood, a receiver from Rutgers who I’ve met a few times ran a 4.41 40 and was 2nd in the vertical jump.
A totally changed mock draft will come this week after all is said and done in Indy.
