McGahee Wants to Be Back in ’10, Foxworth Expects Reed Back

Just two quick announcements about Willis McGahee and Ed Reed’s statuses for next season.  Mike Duffy says that Willis McGahee wants to come back next season, but it all depends what the team’s plans for him are after the emergence of Ray Rice. Duffy talks about the $3.6 million price tag on McGahee, a bit steep for a backup, and quotes Stiff-Arm Willis as saying “The plan is to be back, but it all depends on how they handle it.”  The “they” is obviously the Ravens management, specifically GM Ozzie Newsome.

In Ed Reed news, Aaron Wilson reported on Twitter that Domonique Foxworth “fully expects [Reed] to be back”.  This is good news if Foxworth is correct, but right now, Ed Reed is really the only one who has any idea of what he’ll do in all honesty.  I don’t really care about what the players have to say about it, but as fans, let’s be happy that one of the guys who knows him well thinks he’ll return.

While we’re at it, here’s three links from Jamison Hensley about McGahee, Mason and Reed and their statuses for next year.
