Former head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, Jim Caldwell, plans to join the Baltimore Ravens coaching staff as the quarterbacks coach. Caldwell has been on the Colts coaching staff for the past 10 years where he has helped Peyton Manning during his hall of fame career. Caldwell was fired at the end of this season after a 2-14 record.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news earlier today, however, the Ravens have yet to confirm this.
Jim Caldwell could help Joe Flacco improve his play after witnessing the great play of Peyton Manning for ten years. Flacco appeared to make significant gains after the Ravens hired Jim Zorn as their QB coach a few years back. With the Colts ranking amongst the league’s best in passing for the past decade, expect Flacco to improve with Caldwell on the Ravens staff.
