Andrew Luck Will Be the First Pick of the Draft.

Are you surprised yet? how about when i drop this bomb. RGIII will be the second pick!!!….

Ok so maybe none of this is blowing your mind.

As expected the Colts have told Andrew Luck that he will be the their pick in the 2012 draft, This makes luck the 4th consecutive QB taken number 1 overall(following Cam Newton, Sam Bradford and Matt Stafford). With Luck going number one overall, That makes Robert Griffen III the second overall pick in the draft. this will be the first time QBs have gone 1-2 since Tim Couch and Donovan McNabb in 1999(Peyton Manning and Ryan Leaf went 1-2 in 1998).

With the top 2 pick known, the intrigue slides to picks 3 and 4 which are owned by the Vikings and Browns respectively. The Vikings are expected to take Matt Kalil of USC, but ESPNs Adam Schefter remains adamant that Kalil is not a lock for the Vikings and that they are mulling over the decision between Kalil, Morris Claiborne(CB, LSU) and Justin Blackmon(WR, Okla St.). The Browns seem to have Trent Richardson(RB, Alabama) penciled in as there pick, but there continue to be reports that they are considering Richardson, Blackmon and Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill. If i had to guess, the decision is really between Richardson, Blackmon, and trading down with a team that wanted to go after Tannehill. I would be extremely surprised if the Browns drafted Tannehill at 4.
