Baltimore Ravens at Atlanta Falcons: Pregame Details
By Riley B
Who: Baltimore Ravens (0-0) at Atlanta Falcons (0-0)
Where: Georgia Dome, Atlanta, Georgia
Weather: 75 degrees, cloudy with thunderstorms
What To Watch For:
1. Offensive Line – The Ravens lost a significant cog to the Saints in guard Ben Grubbs. The Ravens have many young, unproven lineman who will look to fill in where ever they can. Pay attention to rookies Kelechi Osemele and Gino Gradkoski as well as second year player Jah Reid.
2. Pass Rushers Must Step Up – The Ravens lost Terrell Suggs to injury and Jarrett Johnson to free agency this offseason. The defense needs someone to step up and get some pressure on the quarterback. Whether it’s Paul Kruger, Pernell McPhee, Sergio Kindle, or an unknown upstart, the Ravens must find another pass rusher if they want to be successful on defense.
3. No Injuries – If the Ravens start the regular season with no injuries, I’ll be a happy camper. The most important thing is making it out of the preseason with no serious injuries.
