Sunday night Joe Flacco had what I beleive was the best game of his career. I’m curious to see if Ravens fans agree with me. Here are your options. The Poll is located Just to the right of this paragraph. ———>

2012 week 3 vs Patriots, 9/23/12

28 of 39 passes for 382 yards and 3 TDs.

He also marched the Ravens down the field to set up a chip shot field goal. Flacco was incredible in the fourth quarter throwing for an astounding 162 yards and a touchdown while completing 13 of his 16 passes.

Result: Ravens win 31-30

2011 week 9 @ Steelers 11/06/11

28 of 47 for 300 yards and 1 touchdown.

Flacco had maybe the biggest 92 yards and biggest touchdown of his career in that game. Flacco had struggled all night and the Ravens and Steelers were locked in a close competitive game. With a little over 2 minutes left in the game Flacco and the Ravens offense took over on the 8 yard line and Flacco went to work. On a drive that featured 2 4th downs and 3 dropped passes, including one in the endzone, Flacco shined as bright as he ever has and finally hit pay dirt on a 26 yard pass to Torrey Smith.

Result: Ravens win 23-20

2011 Week 8 @ Cardinals 10/31/11

31 of 51 for 337 yards 0 TDs.

Flacco may nit have had any touchdowns on this game, but he was still spectacular. after several first half miscues the Ravens found themselves in a 21 point hole before halftime. The Ravens came out of the half and Flacco was unstoppable as he led the Ravens up the field easily on every drive. Ray Rice had three one yard scores as a result. This was the largest comeback in Ravens history, and it was all on the shoulders of Flacco.

Result: Ravens win 30-27

2011 AFC Championship @ Patriots 1/22/12

22 of 36 for 316 yards and 2 touchdowns.

I know this is a sore spot for Ravens fans, but this was probably Flaccos second best game. I wont bring up the ending much because we all know what happened, but suffice to say Joe Flacco did all the right things to put his team in position to win the game, but to paraphrase Gisele Bundchen, “[Flacco] can’t throw the ball and catch it too!”.

Result: lets just move on…

Other

Flacco has had plenty of other great games, but these are the big ones that stick out to me. Maybe you think he was at his best in the 2010 wild card weekend playoffs against the Cheifs. Maybe you love 2011 week one and the 300 yard 3 TD blowout of the Steelers. If you vote other, be sure to let me know what your vote is in the comments section below.
