Through three games after his return from Injury, Terrell Suggs hasn’t quite been himself. He is still playing at an extremely high level, there is no doubt about that, But He only has 10 total tackles and 1 sack to show for it. Now, that isnt a bad stat line for a guy that is just 6 months removed from Achilles tendon surgery, but it isn’t where Suggs wants to be. Enter the Steelers.

Suggs has terrorized the Steelers during his career. He has more sacks against them than any other single player against any other single team. Last year he had 3 in the week one match-up and then in the second matchup he had zero. but that doesn’t tell the whole story because Suggs ended what had the makings of a momentum changing drive for the Steelers when he faked a rush and then dropped into the flat and made an easy pick on a Roethlisberger Screen pass. If there was one play that decided the game, it was that one. The Ravens went on to score on that drive and….well you know the rest.

If there is a game on the schedule that Suggs has circled to make a big impact in. It is probably this one. Suggs loves Pittsburgh. Last year he taunted the fans telling them that Heinz field was his house, but he remembered when it used to be theirs. This is Suggs house. He has a long history of success at Heinz field, probably more success than any non-Steeler. Here’s hoping that success continues this weekend.
