Asa Jackson has been suspended four games for violating the leagues performance enhancing drugs policy. What Jackson tested positive for hasn’t been released, but either way the Ravens will be without him for the remainder of the regular season and the first post season game.

Jackson hasn’t been a factor this year and that isn’t surprising, the Ravens knew he was a project when they drafted him, but losing another depth player could end up hurting the team if another corner were to go down. Eventually the Ravens are going to say next man up, and there isn’t going to be anyone left. This just adds to the Ravens nightmare season on defense where nearly every key player has missed time. Webb tore his ACL, Lewis has missed time, Suggs isn’t himself and missed the first half of the season, Ngata has been fighting through an MCL sprain all season, Ed Reed limps around on every single play, Jimmy Smith had a sports hernia, Elerbe and McClain have both missed time, Pernell Mcphee hasnt been right, Art Jones missed one, even Pollard missed a game as well. pretty much every starter(and a bunch of their backups) on defense has missed at least a game except for Cary Williams who is having a really good season. Jackson is far from a starter, but at the Rate the Ravens are getting hurt, he could have been soon.
